Picked one of these up to use with my Marshall DSL100, and it turned it into a fire-breathing monster! Highly reccomended!

Incredible. That’s about all I can say. Bought this for use with my Dual Rectifier, and now? I use it on my VH4, SLO and Dual Rec! Fortin kills it!

I will never use an amp without one again. After using the Grind, everything sounds muddy and, well? Like it has a wet towel over it. This simple device breathes new life into your amp and makes it an entirely different breed of machine.

On Mike’s recommendation I bought one of these. Whisper quiet, which in a multi-pedal high gain scenario is paramount. Love it, it reacts differently depending which amp it’s used with. Perfect with one of my custom builds, great with a Dual Rectifier. I liked it so much that I bought another one for my friend, he uses it as a lead boost. I own pedals near twice the price that don’t have a fraction of the build quality. This is important to me, down time sucks. Besides, just look at it!

If your looking to tighten up or add some balls to any amp, this is where it’s at. Im using one with my Mesa Dual Recto to get some razor sharp tight tones. I love my Recto, but it does not have the tight low end that I desire going strait into the amp. The Grind solves that problem. It tightens up and tames the lows while adding a nice “grindy” feel. Awesome pedal!

Got one of these and run it through an Orange Rockerverb MkII, it changes the amp from the dark somewhat loose “doom” and sludge Orange sound to a tight fast attacking unit with the ability to palm mute and fast chug without getting all sloppy. Huge difference and it makes the tone turn very mean and focused. I also use it into my Marshall 2203x and it helps tighten it up when using drop tuned guitars. Gives the Marshall back the cut into the mix that the low strings can mud up. It really gets a heavy amp into the front of the mix.

At the beginning of 2015 I got my first grind and a few days ago I got my grind rev 2 because of Mike´s anouncement of what he has changed in rev 2. Both grinds are really awesome, but the rev 2 is even more awesome, beacause it shapes over a wider range of frequencies and that with more power/headroom. Anyway – since the first drop, the grind it is an absolutely essential part in my signal chain to get this ultra tight aggressive modern metal tone; no matter what an distortion pedal or amp follows. I use ist with my Diezel Hagen, my Amp1 and with my Diezel VH4-Pedal and I would never miss it again. At present there is definitive no other Boost-Pedal available that is engineered to boost high gain heads/rigs in that way the grind does. Whatever what your rig and your guitar is – Since 2009 I play extreme metal with 8String Guitars; means I know the challenges in tone-searching for those extended range guitars.

So get yours and “grind” your rig to a jaw-dropping higher level – 10 of 5 stars!!

I picked up a used GRIND pedal and I absolutely love it! I was rocking an Airis Savage drive pedal before, now that is up for sale:-) I love how the GRIND is just one knob and sounds killer into all my amps.
